Roxie Halley

Roxie is a Melbourne-based improviser, comedian, writer and physical theatre performer with more than a decade of experience creating bold, high-energy comedy across improv, sketch and clown.

A long-time performer with The Improv Conspiracy, Roxie has spent the past 10 years performing in some of the company’s flagship productions, including The Big Show, The Remix and Fuck This, I Quit, earning a reputation for fearless character work, physical commitment and brilliantly unpredictable comedic choices.

Alongside her improv career, Roxie has written, directed and performed original comedy works across multiple seasons of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, including productions in 2018, 2022 and 2023. In 2024, she premiered her debut solo sketch show Good Girl, showcasing her distinctive blend of absurdity, theatricality and sharply observed comedy.

Roxie also has a strong background in physical theatre, with specialist training in clown and bouffon performance. In 2024, she appeared in Spoonfools at the Melbourne Fringe Festival, delighting audiences as an aggressively loved-up cleaning lady with absolutely no understanding of personal boundaries.

Now performing with The Big HOO-HAA!, Roxie brings a wonderfully chaotic stage presence, fearless physicality and a stable of unforgettable characters to Melbourne’s longest-running weekly improv comedy show.
